SORORITY LIVING WHILE PLANT-BASED.
My sophomore year of college I was living in a sorority house with a structured menu, little to no appliances, and was at the beginning stages of my health ~ journey ~ . Yet, I was still able to stick to a healthy plant-based diet despite being in those circumstances. And so can you :)
I think the biggest thing about my experience was realizing the fact that eating a plant-based diet was non-negotiatiable for me. There are certain things in your life that you yourself (nobody else) can make non-negotiable if you truly want it, are passionate, and have the discipline. Meaning no matter what, it’s just simply not up for debate. And that’s the mindset I went in with.
People ask me, “How the hell were you able to stick to that while living with 70+ girls and not tempted to eat fried food all the time??” My answer was always, “It’s just not how I choose to eat. It’s not that I don’t think fried food tastes amazing and that I’m restricting myself (I enjoy a good ole Freddys veggie burger and fries time to time) - it’s a conscious decision that I personally have decided for myself, no one else.”
respect your health and your body, don’t restrict it.
I wasn’t sticking to my goals for any reason other than for myself and my own choices. It’s hard to put this into words, honestly, because I think most of you who live a healthy lifestyle can relate to the fact that it’s just something that becomes a part of your lifestyle and it’s not even a question at this point.
I really hate how I don’t have one specific answer for you but there truly isn’t one thing I can say that’ll explain how I did it. It wasn’t easy in any way, it was hard. I put in a lot of extra work in order to actually be able to eat dinner most of my nights, a lot of my meals were prepped dinners or steamed rice and veggies I made in the microwave. I’ll get into my tips and tricks later on in this post.
Now this is the point where I talk about feeling peer pressure and judgement around food and the way you choose to eat. I think that was my biggest fear before living in my sorority house. I had absolutely no doubt in myself that I wasn’t going to be able to stick with my lifestyle, rather, fear that other people were going to judge me for it. Which I think says a LOT about myself.
The fact that I had complete faith in myself in my own decision to keep a healthy lifestyle going, but rather had doubt and fear in what other people were going to think is bullshit. Like I’m sorry it’s such bullshit. It wasn’t that I thought my friends were judgmental in ANY way (probably the most supportive people ever) but I constructed this idea in my mind that people actually cared about how I choose to eat and were going to think I was weird… news flash. No one gives a shit. I know it may seem like people are always judging you but they really aren’t. And even if they are, who cares. Because you shouldn’t. Your food / lifestyle choices have literally no affect on anyone else but yourself, so why are you even thinking twice about how other people perceive you???
This took me a long time to realize unfortunately.
MY TIPS
1.) PLAN PLAN PLAN - make a grocery or meal list for the week, meal prep, choose / schedule your workouts in advance, this holds yourself accountable.
2.) SPEAK UP - If your are living somewhere where they aren't being accommodating, speak up and give them recommendations. They will listen to your feedback! This can pertain to eating out at restaurants as well.
3.) FIND YOUR "WHY" - And write It down daily.
Your “why” is your reason behind continuing your healthy lifestyle. Sometimes it’s easy to forget, especially when you’re surrounded by so many people who live or eat differently than you.
My “why” is because I respect my body, health, and wellbeing. And because I want to continue to be the best version of myself, for the environment, the animals, my future, and my self confidence.
4.) GET FRIENDS INVOLVED - friends who are supportive and encourage you to be the best version of yourself are friends worth keeping :)
5.) UTILIZE MICROWAVABLE STEAM BAGS (such as veggies and rice) AND STOCK UP ON LEFTOVERS.
I don’t know how many times I went down to our “leftovers fridge” and boxed up all the leftovers in Tupperware that our chef would leave out. I did this quite often. Most of the time, the leftovers were things that I loved to eat like quinoa, cooked veggies, sweet potatoes, rice and beans and veggie burgers! I literally would take as many take-home containers I had with me, and stock up for days when I couldn’t eat what was on the menu, or had no time to meal prep. I kept all of this in our communal fridge and to keep things organized, I had a little cooler bag so no one would get confused who’s food it was!
6.) Get a small blender for your room to make smoothies !!!
This needs no explanation, smoothies for daysssss. I heard the nutribullet is a great option! We had a blender provided for us in our sorority.
7.) Purchase an air-fryer. Periodt. It will change your life, elevate your meals, and make cooking faster!
Here’s a link to the one I use - it’s $50, also available on Amazon
8.) UTILIZE YOUR SALAD BAR TO MAKE WRAPS!
Don’t let all those fresh veggies go to waste :) I would make wraps for lunch allll the time.
brown rice tortilla
hummus or vegan pesto
all the fresh veggies
avocado
kraut
some vegan ranch
*chefs kiss*
Here are photos of some of my favorite products I kept handy !
Not pictured:
sweet potatoes, avocados, vegan salad dressings, Bitchin’ Sauce, everything but the bagel seasoning, garlic powder, a 24 herb seasoning, red pepper flakes, hot sauce, oat milk, vegan yogurt, tea, almond butter, rice cakes, Mary’s gone crackers, miyokos cream cheese, chickpeas, carrots and hummus, fresh fruit, and frozen fruit.
INTUITIVE EATING — what is it? + my experience
Intuitive Eating.
A term we have all heard, especially if you are well-versed in the health and wellness space. For a long time, I didn’t understand this concept and quite honestly I had the wrong idea about it. I honestly thought intuitive eating was another word or concept that had to do with weight loss. But then another part of me saw intuitive eating as some excuse people would use in order to not feel guilty for wanting to eat donuts, fries, and ice cream all day. Both are so far from false. It has nothing to do with weight-loss and nothing to do with being a guilt cover-up.
Intuitive eating encourages you to recognize hunger, fullness, and thirst cues that your body is sending you and overall becoming in tune with your body. That is much easier said than done. Being in tune with your body aims to have a full sense of self — which if you know me, can be difficult. I often get uncomfortable trying to really lean in and study my body, mind, thoughts, and actions.
Now this post will mostly focus on intuitive eating however, living intuitively is something that is just as important, if not more important. Once you focus on one aspect, the rest will follow. It truly is a domino effect. Living intuitively is simply about listening to your mind and body’s intuition regarding everything in your life. In general, trusting yourself. This comes with much more practice, heck I haven’t even nailed this yet. It takes time!
Intuitive eating for me, has changed my eating habits, relationship with food, and my body composition. Now I am not saying body composition as a way to solely link this concept to weight loss. In my experience with intuitive eating I did lose weight, others will gain, some will stay the same. But that’s the case with adapting any new lifestyle to your routine regarding eating food. One of those 3 outcomes will occur. It’s simply just what happened when I started to incorporate intuitive eating into my lifestyle. Intuitive eating however, was not the only reason I lost weight, there is a whoooole lot more that went into that. Although this change did occur, it’s not the goal of intuitive eating AT ALL.
For me, in the past I was overeating as a way to cope with emotions, not because I was listening to my body. Other days I was restricting. Either way, in no way was I listening to my body. My body was confused all the time I swear tg.
Although some people have experienced this — this way of eating does not serve as some magical weight-loss plan or concept. In fact, you might as well go throw away your scale along with that idea.
When I say body composition, I am not only talking about the way my body looks, but also the way my body responds to the food I eat and how I feel after I eat a full meal, my digestion.
But Intuitive eating is unique to each person, if you have not yet already heard this (I’m sure you have), let me just remind you… EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT.
I cannot stress this enough. For so long I thought certain diets, plans, and lifestyles that worked for others would work seamlessly into mine. I have had amazing and quite honestly life-changing experiences from learning from others and incorporating lifestyle and diet (when I say diet, I’m just talkin’ about the food I eat, not dieting in a sense of restriction) decisions similar to theirs. That’s how most people learn, no? By gaining inspiration from others or doing their own research and seeing if that works for them! But that’s the important part — it’s totally fine to take inspo, advice, and adapt similar lifestyle decisions as others you admire but, DOES IT WORK FOR YOU? Are you happy, healthy, is your body responding well to these decisions? It’s a lot to think about tbh.
That’s where intuitive eating/ living intuitively comes in.
LET HER COME IN.
Please, listen to your body.
From personal experience, I have kept so many amazing lifestyle decisions in my life that I have learned from others, books, and documentaries because I know they WORK FOR ME! Not because other people do it, but because I know my body better than anyone:) On the other hand, there have been other lifestyle choices I have learned from others that I have completely thrown out the damn door.
For example, I used to think eating a meal replacement shake WAS A SUFFICIENT MEAL. Ha. Guys, I have come a long way. Like I really used to think a shake filled with just powder and ice was gonna make me ~sKiNnY~. Better yet, I thought they were healthy… what kinda world is this? To eat something that isn’t even real food and think it was good for my health. I’m laughing writing this because those shakes didn’t have one ounce of real food in them lol. In hindsight, when I focused on losing weight and restrictive eating with these shakes, they were causing me to gain weight due to my body being so damn hungry it needed to hold onto fat to function. It was exhausting.
You need food to live, have energy, and for your body to properly break down food.
I eat more than I ever have by eating intuitively and have never been happier. Some days I eat less than usual, because I simply am not as hungry as other days. I ditched the idea of only allowing myself 3 meals a day and I also have ditched the idea of NEEDING to have 3 meals a day to survive. What if my body rather wanted 2 meals and a snack? Then that is what I’ll have.
If I adapted something from another influencer and it was not aligning with my body, life, or morals I would stop doing whatever it was immediately. And that’s on listening to your body and having enough self respect to stop it no matter how trendy it is. And that’s what I did with those shakes. Yes, the shakes with the big fat colorful straws that girls drink to fill them up… instead of eating food. lol no shade, she’s me, I WAS THAT GIRL!
I think the most rewarding aspect I have gained from eating intuitively, is adapting a plant-based diet. When I first started this whole journey, I was literally slapped in the face with the realization of what meat and dairy was doing to my body. Constantly bloated, had horrible skin, sluggish heavy feeling, just so many unnecessary shitty feelings. I took it upon myself to slowly cut out the foods that did not make me feel good and brought in MORE of the foods that made me feel good. That’s intuitive eating, listening to what your body wants/needs. For me, it was adding in more vegetables, grains, fruit, legumes, and less processed animal foods that left my body in knots. This resulted in me just ditching the animal products overall because that wasn’t what my body wanted or what I personally want to consume. (cows are cute srry bout it, dont h8).
For me intuitive eating looks like this:
Am I hungry?
Am I bored?
Is my stomach growling from lack of nourishment?
Am I thirsty?
What food is my body craving / in the mood for?
What food did I eat today that may have caused this upset feeling?
What food did I eat today that is making me feel amazing?
Is my body in need of a good sweat or do I need to slow it down and stretch instead?
This doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself though, I don’t want intuitive eating to EVER be associated with restriction. That is literally the exact opposite. You should never ever feel guilty about the food you eat.
It may be hard to believe, but giving yourself permission to eat any food your body wants, leaves yourself less likely to overeat, binge, and have guilty feelings around the food you choose to eat. Recognizing that your body was craving some fries and eating the damn fries, will serve you much more in the long run than ignoring these cues, followed by eating so fast you don’t even want to acknowledge the fact you’re eating some fries, God forbid!
Slow down, listen to your body. Soak it all up eating those fries. Eat slow and honor your body for sending you that hunger cue. And enjoy them, because fries are so damn good.
So, no. Intuitive eating is not about weight loss, or using it as an excuse to cover up guilty feelings, or walking around eating 10 tubs of ice cream a day. Instead, the goals of intuitive eating are learning to trust your body, to be at peace with food, and to improve overall health and your own wellbeing.
MY FAV SUPPLEMENTS + WHY I TAKE THEM
YOUR HEALTH IS AN INVESTMENT NOT AN EXPENSE
It is part of my daily morning routine to take all my supplements! Everyone is different and all bodies have different needs when it comes to supplementing vitamins and minerals.
Supplement:
a substance taken to remedy the deficiencies in a person's diet
I feel like supplements often get a bad rep because people aren’t aware of what they really are. Some people assume this is a term associated with weight loss and although there are some, most researchers say they are ineffective and a healthy diet and lifestyle is the single most effective way to lose weight. I take supplements to make sure my body is getting the sufficient amount of nutrients it requires to stay in the best shape possible. And I’m not talking about weight. I’m talking about energy, my immune system, heart, muscle, and bone health, brain function…The list goes on.
I am not however admitting that a plant based diet makes it IMPOSSIBLE to achieve these benefits. However, the reality I live and busy college life I experience, I don’t have the time, resources, or money to be getting in every vitamin and mineral every single day from the foods I eat. Meaning, I’m not eating an insane diverse amount of food all day everyday. Some days I eat more than others and some days I’m not plant diverse with my meals whatsoever, and that happens. Life happens. Also… I don’t eat animal products! That is a restriction and could cause a deficiency! (if not eating a balanced diet and instead filled with vegan junk food, processed foods, etc.). I’m not, not admitting that!
I can 100% get the exact same nutrients in other plant foods… but am I eating quinoa every single day? No. Am I making plant diverse meals every single day? Not everyday no, although I would say I’m pretty damn good at not eating processed foods. Some days are better than others and some days I make it more of a priority.
Instead, I am trying to simply explain that there is nothing wrong with making sure you’re getting your daily dose of vitamins and minerals with a supplement — vegans and non vegans alike! People who aren’t plant based are STILL at risk for these symptoms from a lack of nutrients (shocker, I know!) Someone who is eating a muffin for breakfast, mac and cheese for lunch, and chicken tenders and fries at dinner (lol sounds like freshman year me!) is NOT getting the sufficient amount of vitamins and minerals in a day. And I’m not bashing on the way someone like that chooses to live their life, I’m just saying it will be better for their health in the long run to try and receive those nutrients in the most bio available way possible. And that is what a plant based diet does!
Bioavailability: is a term used to describe the proportion of a nutrient in food that is utilized for normal body functions.
Basically, getting the MOST out of your food. Plant based diets focus on receiving all the nutrients from whole real food, and are way more easily absorbed than let’s say a fried chicken meal. Sure maybe you’d get some protein and b12 butttt is that necessarily the most ideal way to get nutrients? No.
So why not take a supplement to ensure that your body is getting them if you feel like some days your diet is lacking in these nutrients?
Below are photos of all the supplements I take and why! If you have any questions feel free to comment or DM me on Instagram, as always!
B12
I can literally SEE the questions flooding from people already, “If vegans can get every single nutrient from a plant based diet, then explain B12!!”
Fun Fact: B12 isn’t actually made by animals and it’s not made by plants either! B12 comes from tiny bacteria that cover the earth in the soil and historically humans got this vitamin by eating food grown in the earth, drinking water from the streams or not washing their hands before eating. Because of today’s sanitary standards, natural sources of B12 don’t exist (although I did hear about a new study breaking this myth and that it was found naturally occurring in some plant… However I have not kept up with this study). Nowadays, humans can receive B12 through the bacteria that is produced in the gastrointestinal tract of animals (most livestock are now supplemented with the vitamin as well). Therefore, you can still eat meat and be deficient!
So, it is encouraged to receive your B12 through a supplement. That is the most reliable way to receive it.
Symptoms of a B12 deficiency include: anemia, nerve damage, low energy levels , weakness, fatigue…. I have had NUMEROUS people tell me they tried a plant based diet and felt so low energy… maybe try supplementing with a B12 vitamin and eat more throughout the day! I experienced about a week of these symptoms when first switching my diet. After I started taking B12 it went away and the food I eat fuels me!
Now that we have that one out of the way I’ll keep the rest short and sweet!
IRON
Plants and grains contain the type of iron called nonheme which is not absorbed by the body as well as heme (found in animal protein). So I just make sure to take my iron supplement everyday to ensure my energy levels and immune system are healthy! Although nonheme can still be absorbed by my body, I simply take a supplement to ensure that I get it!
Symptoms of an Iron deficiency include: fatigue, lightheadedness, frequent infections, or dry damaged hair and skin.
CALCIUM + MAGNESIUM + ZINC + D
I don’t have much to say about this other than the fact that all these nutrients are so important and I want to ensure my body is getting the sufficient amount it needs!
Calcium is found in dairy — which I do not eat. But it’s also found in plant mylks, leafy greens, almonds, beans, tofu… and a lot more !
Most people don’t experience too many symptoms of a deficiency however some people can experience: cramping, muscle weakness, or confusion.
Magnesium is found in dark chocolate, almonds, peanuts, and avocado.
Symptoms of a deficiency include: high blood pressure, fatigue, muscle twitches.
Zinc is found in quinoa, beans, lentils, nuts, tofu and more.
Symptoms of a deficiency include: decreased immunity, impaired cognitive function or depression.
Vitamin D is found in mushrooms, fortified mylks, tofu and the sun (obviously lol) it is VERY difficult to get Vitamin D in any diet so a supplement is important!
Symptoms aren’t common however some people can experience getting sick often, fatigue, impaired wound healing, bone loss.
SEED PROBIOTIC
And lastly, my probiotic!!!! The best probiotic I’ve ever had to be honest. I’ve talked numerous times on my page and blog about probiotics and why they are important! I will link the posts below if you want more information!
https://www.instagram.com/p/B67CKO2pIhh/?igshid=c3vzs9sv15ib
https://www.instagram.com/p/B6UQVuUJ1ye/?igshid=14qullme03piu
I have always strived to get my probiotics in the most bioavailable way through the foods I eat. Which I still LOVE doing. However, I noticed a HUGE difference in my digestion and bloat while using this daily symbiotic (pre + probiotic). Below is a picture of Seed’s information card that further explains the importance. Basically your body needs both pre and probiotics because prebiotics are what the probiotics feed off of in order to live in our bodies and receive the benefits!
FIN !!
I really, really hope this post was helpful and informative for you! I have gotten countless messages and questions on supplements and which ones I take and why. So hopefully this post answers any of your questions. Feel free to DM me if you have anymore! I have more holistic supplements that I use not included in this post that I use specifically for when I get sick, bloated and for my skin health. That will be a whole separate post because I have simply too much to say! I didn’t want this post to be any longer than it is now. Let me know if that is another post you’d be interested in!

Welcome To HEALTH HAUS
Hiii !!! Welcome to my new blog HEALTH HAUS. You probably already know this but my name was formerly “good.clean.eats.by.me” on Instagram. I decided to change the name of my account for a couple of reasons!
The back story
Originally I made my Instagram a private account, for only myself to see and to keep track of all my meals I had been making during the 21 day reset, an eBook by Kenzie Burke. If you don’t already know what that is, check out my blog post, “Let Me Run Your Ear Off” for the low down. It wasn’t until after the reset when I made the decision to make the account public. I sent my final transformation photos and testimony to Kenzie, and then I made my account public for others to see my meals and answer any questions people had because I wanted to help others who were also new to food combining or who just wanted some foodie inspiration!
The username was meant to be lowkey, and not for public viewing whatsoever. It had nothing to do with my name and it wasn’t personalized to me in anyway. So since this account has taken quite a different turn from my original plan, I decided I should make it more personal to me.
How did I personalize it?
Well, instead of just “good clean eats” I think we all have noticed I talk about more than just food on my page. I talk about overall health, food being the majority of my posts. However, I talk about so much more on my stories and in my captions ranging from skin, gut health, plant based lifestyle, college tips, well-being and fitness. I wanted to break away from the title of just “food” and make it more “HEALTH” focused.
And that leads us to “HAUS” (pronounced “house”) which is the ending of my last name! My full name is Kathleen Tushaus, and my last name has sort of always been a running joke throughout my life. My teachers never pronounced it correctly, some of my closest friends still say it wrong but I just don’t say anything haha. Every time I’ve been to an appointment of some sort and they call my name, they just say my first name followed by “Wow, and how do you pronounce that?”. It’s never bothered me, it honestly starts great conversation. I just thought If I could somehow weave my last name into this account and blog I should, that way maybe people would be able to pronounce it correctly lol.
So farewell to “good.clean.eats.by.me“… why am I emo right now? Kidding kidding, but at the end of the day it’s just a username change and I will still be posting the same content I am right now! She just got a lil makeover that’s all ;)
I want this space to be casual, laid back & more personal than my instagram page! I’ve noticed my captions have always been quite long and sometimes I feel like I’ve had more to say than just recipes, thus HEALTH HAUS was created! I hope you stick around :) Please let me know if you have any specific blog post ideas you would want me to talk about!!
Xx,
Kathleen
FAVORITE NON TOXIC SKINCARE PRODUCTS & WHY YOU SHOULD CARE.
I’ve given in to my fair share of skincare phases and trends but trust me, this is one worth learning about.
It wasn’t until a couple of months ago that I started to care about the products and chemicals I was putting on my skin. I always reached for the most expensive looking or well known brand so that I was kept in the beauty and skincare loop. But now I’m over the hype behind the big name brand companies because half of these brands don’t care about your actual health or clearing your chronic acne like they claim they do.
The way I look at skincare now is through a holistic mindset where I focus on not only the products I’m putting on my face, but also what I’m putting into my body. Ever since going plant based my skin has improved tremendously, as most people’s do when switching to a whole foods diet. The minerals and vitamins needed for our skin to glow, and produce collagen and elasticity is all found in a well balanced diet. Free from processed foods, refined sugars and high in antioxidants. I could talk on and on about diet and how much it affects our skin but in this post I am solely going to focus on non-toxic beauty and skincare. Don’t worry though, I will most definitely being doing a separate post about diet and skincare.
WHAT DOES NON-TOXIC MEAN?
When companies claim to be non-toxic that means they have left out certain ingredients that have been known to be linked to cancer, hormone disruption, neuro-disruption and impaired organ function. Sounds like common sense right? Sounds as if that is how skincare should be, non-toxic. Well unfortunately that isn’t the case.
Companies are legally allowed to use the words bio, eco, organic, and all natural without any evidence on the packaging to back these claims up.
So, how do you know for sure if a product is non-toxic?
Look for the labels on the back that say,”Vegan, USDA Organic, Not Tested On Animals or Fair-trade”. This is a great way to know a true clean beauty company from competitors who’s main goal is to greenwash you into believing you are buying a non-toxic product.
greenwashing: Also called "green sheen", is a form of marketing spin in which green PR and green marketing are deceptively used to persuade the public that an organization's products, aims and policies are environmentally friendly and therefore ‘better’; appeal to nature.
WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?
I feel like if you are someone who is well immersed in the health and wellness space you have heard the fact over and over again that our skin is our body’s largest organ. It’s true! Our skins primary function is to act as a barrier and protection from mechanical impacts and pressure, temperature changes, radiation and all sorts of chemicals. It regulates our bodily functions like sweating and it even sends signals to our brain to warn us of the changing temperatures. Now would it make any sense to be putting chemicals onto or into our body that are known carcinogens (substances capable of causing cancer in living tissue) and being released into our blood stream all throughout our body? Absolutely not.
FIRST STEPS IN SWITCHING TO NON-TOXIC SKINCARE
Did you know the EU has over 1,300 ingredients banned from being used in skincare and beauty because they are at known levels of toxicity, while the USA has only 11 ingredients banned? If that doesn’t prove how careful we must be while out shopping for new products than I’m not sure what does. To think that companies claim to have a mission that is all about helping the consumers skin health be at its very best while using dozens of toxic ingredients not only causing skin irritation, dryness, skin conditions but also diseases, is mind blowing to me.
So what are some small steps you can do in order to make this switch?
My first step to adapting to non-toxic skincare was downloading the “Think Dirty” app on my phone. It’s a free app where it allows you to search the product you use and they rate it on a scale of 0-10 depending how toxic the product truly is. After learning that some of my favorite brands were using many toxic ingredients, I didn’t just throw everything away. I rather became more aware of the products I should be reaching for next time. For example, at Sephora and Target I’ll shop the natural beauty section, they have both made it very easy and accessible to find these brands in their stores.
I think being more aware and just knowledgeable about this topic is the smartest first step to take because it can get very overwhelming when you realize how many of your products aren’t good for your health whatsoever, trust me I was pissed (considering how much money I spent on these products).
MY FAVORITE NON-TOXIC PRODUCTS AND BRANDS
Ok so I’m pretty new to this side of the wellness spectrum so I don’t have that many products I’ve tried out. But!! I do have a good little list goin. I’ll link everything below and mention where you can purchase it!
MyMatcha All-Over Moisture Stick : Amazing for all over the face, your lips, if your nose gets a lil dry in the winter, and really helps even out my complexion. Available at target.
Stem Cellular Cleansing Oil: One of the best cleansers to remove makeup!! It leaves my skin so dewy and cleansed, I rarely have to use a moisturizer or oil after because it leaves your skin so moisturized after. Available on their website.
Steam Cellular CC Cream (SPF 30): I am in the shade “warm glow” and this CC cream is a great consistency. I find It gives me the perfect amount of coverage for everyday use— although I rarely wear makeup. If I were to wear it everyday, it would be great for that. It’s not a whole lot of coverage so if you are more acne prone maybe try out their foundation instead, that is if more coverage is what you’re looking for.
Black Mascara: This stuff hella good. Makes my lashes lonnngg, although not so much thick if that’s more your vibe.
Manuka Honey & Yogurt GLOW GETTER HONEY MASK: Best mask I’ve ever used tbh. I hateeee masks that dry my skin out and cause irritation and redness, especially since my skin is so sensitive. This mask literally leaves your skin glowing. Available at Target.
Coconut Milk Cream to Foam Face Wash: this is a great cleanser for anyone wanting to make the switch immediately— I think swapping your cleanser is a great place to start. This one is affordable, and gets the job done. I’m obsessed with the fresh coconut smell and how there are gentle exfoliating beads that help my dry skin sort of repair itself. Also yes, the name is extremely accurate. Goes from a cream to foam instantly so it’s very hydrating. Available at Target.
The Tea Tree Trio: I was so thankful to have received this as a gift for Christmas and all I can say is I’m obsessed with all the products. The Tea Tree Balancing Oil is my favorite though!! Available at Sephora.
I ordered their Midi Committee set during the Black Friday sale, and have been loving their products. I still Have some I need to try out but 2 that have really stuck out to me and have been helping my dry skin during the winter months are the Protini Polypeptide Cream and B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum. Available online.
Jet Lag Mask: All I can say is, get this mask and use it as a moisturizer... your life will be changed. I’m not sure how else to say that this product is amazing… especially if you have dry skin!! Available online.
